Who business container storage is for
Most of our customers are businesses. They are tradespeople and contractors who are tired of leaving tools in the van overnight, online sellers on Amazon, eBay and Shopify whose stock has outgrown the spare room, retailers with overflow stock, and events, exhibition and fit-out firms that need somewhere for furniture, display kit and equipment between jobs.

Why drive-up containers instead of indoor self storage
Most indoor self storage in London is a lift-access building with set opening hours and extra charges at checkout. Our containers work differently.
You drive up to the door. Every ground-floor unit has direct vehicle access, so you reverse the van up, open the doors and unload. There are no lifts, trolleys or long corridors.
Access is 24/7. Your keypad code works day or night, so an early start, a late finish or an emergency stock run is not a problem.
The containers are new, insulated and ventilated, with lighting inside, and power is available on request. Each site is fenced and gated, with recorded CCTV and LED lighting after dark, and you secure your container with your own padlock.
You rent monthly on a rolling basis. After your first month you stay only as long as you need the space.
How to rent a container
Choose your site, container size and move-in date. Pay your first month online to reserve the unit. Then you receive your confirmation and access details by email and can drive up and move in. Same-day move-in is available in most cases, subject to availability.

What size container does a business need?
Most business customers choose a 20 ft container, which gives about 160 sq ft and suits stock, tools and equipment for a small business. A 10 ft container (about 80 sq ft) is available at Ealing, an 8 ft container at Harrow, and 40 ft containers at Heathrow, Park Royal and Harrow. Can I get to my container 24 hours a day?
Yes. Site access is 24/7, including weekends and bank holidays. You get a phone number to call to open the gate and a keypad code for the site.
Can I drive my van right up to the container?
Yes. Most of our containers are ground-floor units, so you can reverse your van up to the doors and load or unload without lifts, trolleys or indoor corridors. A few containers at Ealing and Harrow are stair-access units, and we still provide parking on site for those.
Is container storage better than self storage for a business?
For stock, tools and equipment that you load by van, usually yes. Traditional self storage is normally inside a shared building with lifts, corridors and limited opening hours. With a drive-up container you park at the door, open it and load straight in, at any hour. If you mainly store documents or small boxes and want a staffed building in central London, indoor self storage may suit you better.
Do I have to sign a long contract?
No. Units are rented monthly on a rolling basis. After your first month you stay only as long as you need the space, and you give one month's notice to cancel before your next bill date.

What can a business store in a container, and what is not allowed?
Businesses store stock, tools, materials, equipment, furniture, event kit and archive files. You cannot store flammable materials, chemicals or perishable food, and the full list is in our Terms and Conditions. All goods must be insured for their full replacement value. You can use your own insurer, or Store Protect, our cover for self storage, which protects your stored goods.
